I am attaching a copy of the 2010 valuations of the 5 properties that I have appealed since November 2008. These 5 properties are within about 3 miles of each other and there seems to be no similar values for land or improvements. I requested from John Davis of the Clark County Assessor December 15, 2009 and he told me that it would take 7 to 10 days for me to recieve the appeal form by mail. I asked what law states it has to be on a special form and John Davis stated that he does not give legal advice or quote laws that we have to abide by. He suggested that I send in Comparable sales of properties with my appeal.

I am also attaching a copy of the Clark County Assessor document that shows you could call 455-3891 to get an appeal form of your property mailed to you. It will have to be mailed by January 15, 2010. I suggest that you mail by certified mail the appeal form that you get back. You can also get the appeal form by showing up to the Clark County Assessor at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway and requesting this form. Last year I used a letter to appeal my 5 properties and this year the Assessor's office is making it more difficult to get your appeal form turned in a timely manner.
